The Clinton Youth Baseball (formally Clinton Little League) would like to let the 9 thru 12 year old boys and girls interested in playing baseball this summer know that there will be tryouts starting Saturday April 10 for 11 and 12 year olds. We will do tryouts for 9 and 10 year olds on Sunday April 11.

Gordon, the Royals' third baseman, must have felt out of the loop after learning he'd miss the next three to four weeks because of a broken right thumb.

Mizzou Loses, Head to Big 12 Tournament
Chasing a loose ball, Marcus Morris collided with Marcus Denmon and fell backward. His head hit a courtside table with an audible thud, causing a quiet hush to come over the rowdy Missouri fans.
Morris lay on the court for several minutes, then gingerly walked to locker room amid respectful applause.

American Legion Baseball is Back in Clinton

It has been several years since the city of Clinton has had an American Legion baseball team and we are very excited about the team for this summer. Last summer a group of high school boys formed a team and played several games and a couple of tournaments. In fact, they went to Columbia and won the Show-Me State games for the high school division!
